Wausau, Wis. (May 4, 2021) Peoples State Bank has completed a four-month-long remodeling project at the bank’s Marathon location at 314 Main Street. The 2,500 square foot remodeling project provides better flow for customers and employees, an ADA-compliant bathroom, and two additional offices for customer interaction.
“Peoples is committed to providing our Marathon customers a great experience…whether they walk in or drive up,” said Peoples State Bank President & CEO Scott Cattanach. “This remodeling project allows for better efficiency for our employees, allowing them to focus on our customers to enhance their banking experience.”
A new front door greets entering customers, along with a new teller line, check-writing station, and seating area. Additional offices allow staff and customers more privacy for banking conversations.
“This project is a wonderful way to express our commitment and gratitude for our customers, as well as our community,” said Marathon Branch Manager Kaci Sessions. “Throughout the last few months, they’ve been interested in the progress and anxious to see the result. I hope they’ll love it as much as we do.”
Peoples hired The Redmond Company, a well-respected bank design and contracting company, for the architecture work and hired local construction companies for the remodeling work.
