Peoples Acquires Larson Financial Group, LLC
Wausau, Wis. (January 2, 2025): Larson Financial Group, LLC, a well-respected Wausau financial advisory business, has joined Peoples State Bank. The bank will welcome David Larson and his assistant, Janina Wendt, to the Peoples team in the coming weeks. Larson Financial Group, a Raymond James Financial Services partner, will operate as Peoples Wealth Management in the new year. Both Dave and Janina will have offices at the Stewart Avenue location in Wausau.

Dave Larson graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a bachelor of business administration/accounting degree. He served as Accounting Manager/Controller for several local manufacturers and then joined First Union Securities in 1999. He then moved to Raymond James with his dad, Jon Larson, in March 2002. Dave has owned his own advisory practice since 2014. He lives in Rib Mountain with his family and black lab.
Janina Wendt began her financial services career in 1998, working as the office manager at EVEREN Securities, First Union, and then Raymond James. After taking time to raise her two children and attend college courses, she returned to the workforce. Her path led her back to Raymond James in 2016, where she has worked as an office manager and financial assistant to Dave Larson.
