Use Peoples Savings Accounts to Help You Plan for Emergencies

Peoples State Bank offers two savings account options to choose from. Our Peoples Savings Account is a traditional savings account, offering interest on your savings, and the ability to use our digital banking tools to move money to and from your other Peoples accounts. Our Peoples Super Savings Account provides a step up when it comes to the interest rate paid on your savings up to a balance of $15,000. When you set up a monthly automatic transfer from your Peoples Edge Checking, Peoples Edge Plus Checking, or Peoples Balance Banking accounts, you’ll receive that interest rate bump.
All of our savings accounts offer:
- Digital banking or Bank Peoples app for online banking transactions and up-to-date balance information
- Access your savings account with surcharge-free ATMs at the Peoples bank locations with ATMs.
The Peoples Savings Account provides interest on your savings when your balance is $200 or more. That $200 minimum daily balance will also help you avoid a $5 monthly service fee.
The Peoples Super Saver Account provides a premium interest rate on your balance up to $15,000, with balances over $15,000 earning the regular savings rate. Like the Peoples Savings Account, a minimum daily balance of $200 will avoid a $5 monthly service charge.
